#whatiscatfish. I’m hating Catfish. You know why? Because I’ve spent the past hour searching for people and places from the film. My head is spinning. I guess I’m not supposed to say what it is (kudos to the marketing dept. for that one), but what I can say is that it’s a total mind f**k. And if it’s as devious as I think it is, it may be the greatest and most slyly disturbing film of the year. (And I have to admit, pretty fun.)

I don’t know what to think. Seriously, WTF is it? When I get this confused, I usually just apply Occam’s Razor. Truth shouldn’t be this difficult to find.

I saw Catfish tonight with Zadi (and Angela and Steve!) and, yes: this. My mind is still reeling and trying to figure it out. The whole thing, and I mean the WHOLE THING, is pretty brilliant, especially the marketing, and I’m curious to see if this movie can make it to opening weekend without spoiling the secret.

I saw the trailer for the movie last week and really want to see it. It isn’t playing anywhere around here until another couple of weeks though.
